The Grand Calibur™ is the latest in Spellbinders'™ line of innovative cutting machines. It is compatible with all Spellbinders die templates. The Grand Calibur accepts 8½ x 11” paper without trimming, as well as cuts or embosses up to 8⅛” wide with the turn of a handle.
With an integrated handle design, and weighing only 10 pounds, the Grand Calibur is portable and convenient to use anywhere. It has a stable base that keeps the machine in place during use. Die cutting and embossing sandwiches are easy to stack with color coded plates.
Using the same two-pass process (cut on one pass, emboss on the other) the Grand Calibur allows so many more die templates on the larger plates. Perfect for Grand Nestabilities®
Larger shapes offer endless possibilities for card making, scrapbooking, school projects, mini albums and more.
Compatible with Sizzlets, Cuttlebug(see Spellbinders website FAQ for details), and Quickutz dies, metal stencils as well as and Fiskars Texture Plates.

A, B, C, and Embossing Mats 11¾ x 8¼"
Shipping weight with mats is 12 lbs.
IMPORTANT: If the result of die-cut is incomplete cuts, please add a shim (piece of paper at least as large as your die templates) between the Base Plate (A) and your die template to increase the pressure while die-cutting. The Die/Embossing sandwich should be stacked in the correct order. Attempting to use incorrect plates may cause damage to the machine. Please be sure the combination of plates is correct. If you have difficulty moving the sandwich through the machine, it may be caused by an incorrect combination of plates. Please reverse the handle to release the sandwich and check your plate combination. Forcing an incorrectly stacked sandwich through the Grand Calibur will cause damage to your machine. As with any papercrafting device, from scissors to die cutters, please exercise caution. Our equipment and dies are not meant for use by unsupervised children. For safety, after use, store out of reach of children.
